Nevena Ilic

Nevena Ilic is a mixed-methods Researcher in the Children, Families and Work team.

Since joining NatCen, Nevena has worked on qualitative and quantitative projects exploring subjects ranging from work experience in secondary schools, and the impact of the British Science Association’s CREST Silver Award Scheme on pupils’ science attainment, to Local Authority insights into how benefits are administered. She also worked on the large, annual survey, the Health Survey for England.

Prior to joining NatCen, Nevena worked as a freelance researcher, undertaking data analyses for charities and NGOs in the UK and Sudan.

She has a First Class Degree in Sociology & Human Geography, an LLM with distinction in Human Rights Law and a Certificate in Social Research Methods from Birkbeck College, University of London.
