Lead Bioinformatics Scientist at Natera

Esha Atolia is an experienced bioinformatics scientist currently serving as the Lead Bioinformatics Scientist at Natera, where responsibilities include developing bioinformatics methods for molecular diagnostics utilizing cell-free DNA technology in areas such as precision oncology, prenatal health, and transplant rejection prediction. Prior experience includes working as an Investigative Computational Biologist at Karius, focusing on data-driven products for infectious disease diagnostics, and conducting doctoral research at Stanford University that resulted in a novel protein co-evolution algorithm. Esha also held internships and research positions at Omniscience Corporation, Harvard Medical School, and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, building a diverse skill set in data science and biological research.
