Esha Atolia is an experienced bioinformatics scientist currently serving as the Lead Bioinformatics Scientist at Natera, where responsibilities include developing bioinformatics methods for molecular diagnostics utilizing cell-free DNA technology in areas such as precision oncology, prenatal health, and transplant rejection prediction. Prior experience includes working as an Investigative Computational Biologist at Karius, focusing on data-driven products for infectious disease diagnostics, and conducting doctoral research at Stanford University that resulted in a novel protein co-evolution algorithm. Esha also held internships and research positions at Omniscience Corporation, Harvard Medical School, and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, building a diverse skill set in data science and biological research. Esha holds a PhD in Chemical and Systems Biology from Stanford University and a BS in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
