Bob Sanders

Bob Sanders has over 19 years of experience in the banking industry. Bob'smost recent role was as Chief Credit Officer at the National Bank of Blacksburg starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as Chief Credit Officer at First Peoples Bank Tennessee from April 2021 to February 2022. Bob also held various positions at Entegra Bank, including Chief Credit Administration Officer, Director of Commercial Lending, and Commercial Credit Analyst. In their role as Chief Credit Administration Officer, they had direct oversight of consumer and commercial credit administration, lending operations, special assets, collections, and loss mitigation.

Bob Sanders attended Western Carolina University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a BSBA degree with a focus on Finance and Marketing. Bob then pursued further education at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 2011 to 2013, specializing in Banking and Leadership. Bob also received a certification from the American Bankers Association in the field of Banking and Leadership.
