Brian Sloboda

Brian Sloboda serves as the Director of Utility Research & Policy at the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this role, Brian held various positions at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association from July 1997 to September 2022, including Vice President of Consumer & Member Engagement (Acting), Director of Consumer Solutions, and Senior Program Manager. In these roles, Brian focused on developing research projects aimed at enhancing consumer engagement programs for electric cooperatives and establishing strategic partnerships to support these initiatives. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Political Science from Fairmont State University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
