Chris Maslak

Chris Maslak currently serves as the VP of Industry & Research Analysis at NRUCFC, leading a team that tracks and analyzes trends in the electric utility and energy sectors to benefit rural electric cooperatives. Previous roles include Senior Growth Initiatives Leader at GE Power, where Chris developed a significant $6.5 billion strategic supplier agreement in Taiwan, and Vice President at Bechtel International, where Chris opened a new office in Saudi Arabia and negotiated government contracts. Experience at GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy involved leading a successful bid for a $30 billion nuclear project in the UAE, while earlier roles at GE Energy encompassed various managerial and engineering positions, including product marketing and combined cycle operations. Chris also founded a non-profit organization after a three-year assignment in Saudi Arabia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
