Andrea Stack TRS, CTRS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of recreation therapy. Andrea started their career as a Recreation Therapy Intern at Origami Brain Injury Rehabilitation in 2008, where they gained practical experience in implementing therapeutic activities for patients. Later that year, they joined National Ability Center as a Recreation Therapy Intern, further enhancing their skills in providing recreational therapy services.

In 2010, Andrea returned to National Ability Center and took on multiple roles. Andrea served as an Adaptive Ski Instructor, helping individuals with disabilities develop their skiing and snowboarding skills. Additionally, they worked as a Ski & Snowboard Program Assistant and a Summer Camp Program Assistant, coordinating and facilitating various camp activities for people with autism, cognitive, and physical disabilities. During their time at the organization, they also contributed to training seasonal camp staff and volunteers.

In 2011, Andrea joined Acumen Fiscal Agent as a Care Taker, demonstrating their dedication to providing care and support to individuals in need.

In 2013, Andrea returned to National Ability Center and assumed the position of Camp, Community, and Education Senior Manager. In this role, they played a crucial role in overseeing the camp programs and custom groups, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional experiences for individuals with disabilities. Prior to this, they held the position of Camps and Custom Groups Supervisor/Ski & Snowboard Front Desk Supervisor, where they managed the front desk operations and supervised staff in the camp and custom groups department.

Throughout their career, Andrea Stack TRS, CTRS has consistently demonstrated a passion for assisting individuals with disabilities and providing therapeutic recreational experiences. Andrea'sexperience encompasses various roles, including program management, instruction, supervision, and care provision, making their a well-rounded professional in the field of recreation therapy.

Andrea Stack TRS, CTRS completed their education from 2002 to 2009 at Central Michigan University. Andrea earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree with a focus on Recreation, Parks, and Leisure; Therapeutic Recreation.

In addition to their degree, Andrea Stack TRS, CTRS holds several additional certifications. Andrea is an Adaptive Level 1 instructor certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA). Andrea also has certification in CPR/First Aid from the American Heart Association. Furthermore, they are a Certified Mandt Instructor through Mandt. Lastly, they hold the Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist certification from the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification.
