Marci Bender

Equestrian Program Manager at National Ability Center

Marci Bender has extensive experience in the field of equestrian programs and therapeutic riding. Marci started their career as an Adaptive Horseback Riding/Skiing Instructor at the National Ability Center in 2000, where they worked until 2003. Marci then joined the Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center as a Head Instructor, serving in that role until 2009. Marci then worked at Stonehall Farm as a Groom until 2011, when they joined Appalachian Outdoors as a Receiving Manager/sales associate. In 2012, Marci returned to the National Ability Center as the Equestrian Program Manager, where they are currently employed.

Marci Bender attended Penn State University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
