Ana Ferreras

Ana Ferreras is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program development and management, particularly within the realms of engineering and STEM education. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since 2008, Ana has successfully developed and managed complex programs with significant national and international influence. Previous roles include establishing sustainable capacity-building initiatives as a Program Officer at the same organization and organizing national contests as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow at The National Academy of Engineering. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida, Ana has contributed to various engineering projects and educational programs throughout a diverse career.
