Morgan Disbrow-Monz is a geoscientist with extensive experience in science policy and education. Currently serving as an Associate Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since July 2022, Morgan previously held the position of Science Policy Fellow at the Geological Society of America. Additionally, significant contributions were made at the American Geophysical Union through the Voices for Science Program, where advocacy workshop initiatives and policy brief development were key responsibilities. Academia experience includes a Doctoral Research Assistantship at the University of Minnesota, focusing on ice dynamics, alongside various teaching roles across geological courses. Earlier roles encompassed research and teaching assistantships at Colby College and leadership as an Outdoor Guide with Wilderness Adventures.
