Noah Ontjes is currently an Associate Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, leading research and project management for the Forum on Drug Discovery, Development, and Translation since January 2023. Previously, Noah served as a Research Associate in the same Forum, where notable contributions included leading a workshop for over 500 stakeholders and coordinating logistics for various activities. Earlier experience includes a role as a Researcher at Wake Forest University Center for Bioethics, Health & Society, where Noah collaborated on a published paper regarding ethical considerations of electroconvulsive therapy access. Additional roles encompass research and development internships, and support positions within educational and environmental projects. Noah holds a Master’s degree in Bioethics/Medical Ethics and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, complemented by experience at UNSW and Raleigh Charter High School.
