Steven Stichter currently serves as the Resilient America Program Director at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, focusing on building community resilience to extreme weather and disasters through expert advice and community engagement. Previously, Steven was the Chief Executive Officer of Kinetic Analysis Corporation, a climate-tech startup providing real-time hazard information for natural disasters. Other notable positions include Program Manager for reSTOREDC/DC Main Streets in the District of Columbia Government, Natural Hazards Planning Specialist at the Organization of American States, and Coastal Planner/Environmental Specialist for the NC Division of Coastal Management. Steven holds a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
