Dr Alice Rota-Bartelink

Honorary Research Fellow at National Ageing Research Institute

Dr. Alice Rota-Bartelink has a distinguished career in academia and consultancy, focusing on mental health, ageing, and dementia. Currently a Lecturer and Teaching Lead in Mental Health & Ageing at the University of Melbourne and a Lecturer in Dementia at the University of Tasmania, Alice coordinates and develops curricula for several related subjects while engaging in impactful research on dementia care. As a Primary Consultant at Rota Consultancy Services and an Honorary Research Fellow at the National Ageing Research Institute, Alice contributes to enhancing the care and quality of life for older adults, particularly those with dementia. Previous roles include Senior Lecturer in Dementia Care at the University of Tasmania, Research & Behaviour Support Manager at WINTRINGHAM Wicking Project, and facilitator of workplace education at Alzheimer's Australia. Alice holds a PhD in Psychophysics & Electrophysiology in Age Related Eye Disease from La Trobe University, along with various management and health sciences qualifications.
