Mark Medema is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the charter school sector, currently serving as the Managing Director of the Charter School Facility Center at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools since January 2019. Medema has also played a key role as Start-up and Growth Director at the Equitable Facilities Fund since January 2018, where the focus is on providing low-cost, long-term financing for charter schools. As a co-founder and board member of EdVillage, Medema supports innovative educational models that serve economically disadvantaged communities. Previous leadership experience includes being the Executive Director of Somerset DC, Director at Building Hope, and holding various strategic roles at the KIPP Foundation. Medema's educational background includes an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University.
