Cammie Kovalick, PMP, CAE

Cammie Kovalick, PMP, CAE has extensive experience in various roles within the field of project management and administration.

Cammie is currently serving as the AVP, Business Excellence at the National Apartment Association, where they are responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring operational efficiency. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Technology Project Management at the same organization from October 2018 to December 2021.

Earlier in their career, Cammie co-founded Simple & Strategic Consulting in March 2018, where they served as the Vice President. Cammie played a key role in providing strategic guidance and consulting services to clients.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked at the American Geophysical Union, starting as the Assistant Director of the Project Management Office. Cammie then transitioned to the role of VP, Information, and Project Management Services, where they managed the organization's IT systems, processes, and personnel. Later, they became the SVP, Administration, where they managed a multi-million-dollar budget and led a team of staff and contract specialists. Cammie also oversaw the transition of systems to the cloud and upgraded infrastructure for improved efficiency.

Prior to joining the American Geophysical Union, Cammie held various project management and publications-related roles, including Publications Project Manager and Group Manager, Publications. In these roles, they managed teams, budgets, and implemented workflow and quality control measures.

Cammie Kovalick, PMP, CAE obtained their Bachelor's degree in Communication & English from Thiel College. In 2011, they became a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. In 2013, they obtained the certification of Certified Virtual Event Planner from iCohere, Inc | Unified Learning System. In 2016, Cammie earned the Certified Association Executive certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership. Finally, in 2018, they became a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
