Senior Manager, Grassroots Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement at National Apartment Association (Naahq)

Seth Turner has a diverse range of work experience in advocacy and government relations. Seth currently works as the Senior Manager of Grassroots Advocacy & Stakeholder Engagement at the National Apartment Association since March 2023. Prior to that, Seth founded AdvocacyWorks 535 in December 2021. Seth also served as a Faculty member and Director of Citizen Engagement at the Congressional Management Foundation from 2016 to 2021. Before that, Seth held various roles at Goodwill Industries International, including Senior Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Acting Director, and Federal and State Affairs Manager. Seth worked as an Independent Consultant from 2006 to 2007, with clients such as The National Human Services Assembly and The Campaign for Youth Justice. Seth also worked as the Senior Director of Public Policy at the Association for Career and Technical Education and as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the National Youth Employment Coalition. Seth started their career at Catholic Charities USA as a Legislative Representative and Editor.

Seth Turner attended the University of Delaware from 1990 to 1992 as a participant in the National Student Exchange Program. Seth then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from California State University, Chico from 1988 to 1992.
