Meredith Meyers is a Senior Marine Aquarist at the National Aquarium since February 2013, where responsibilities include advanced aquatic husbandry for various animals at the Animal Care & Rescue Center. Previously, Meredith served as an Aquarist Intern, focusing on the husbandry care of fish and invertebrates for coral reef exhibits, involving food preparation, water quality monitoring, and habitat maintenance. Additional experience includes an internship as a Hydrographic Mapping Intern with NOAA on the Okeanos Explorer, conducting undersea mapping expeditions, and serving as a Guest Investigator at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where research centered on American Lobster larvae's vertical positioning behaviors. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology from McDaniel College, obtained in 2012.
