Richard Snader

Director Of AV Technology at National Aquarium

Richard Snader has extensive experience in audio visual technology, starting in 1978 as an Audio Visual Technician at the Maryland Science Center. Richard designed and installed audio visual systems for new exhibits, maintained and repaired exhibits and related technical systems, and operated a sound editing studio. In 1981, they joined the National Aquarium as the Director of AV Technology. In this role, they led the design, engineering, and installation of audio visual systems for all aquarium exhibits. Richard managed a team of Audio Visual Technology Specialists and implemented cutting-edge AV technologies for various events and conferences.

Richard Snader attended Anne Arundel Community College from 1976 to 1978, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Towson University from 1978 to 1981.
