Steve Hurvitz

Steve Hurvitz has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector and political campaigns. Steve is currently working as the Donor Engagement Director at the National Aquarium. Previously, they served as a Major Gifts Officer at Hostelling International USA, where they promoted global citizenship and understanding through educational programs. Steve also worked as the Director of Development at Communities In Schools National Office, supporting dropout prevention efforts. Prior to that, they were a Major Gifts Officer at ActionAid USA, focusing on poverty alleviation and human rights. Steve has also worked as a Principal at Hurvitz Consulting Group, offering fundraising and consulting services. Steve has held various finance and fundraising roles for political campaigns, including serving as a Regional Finance Director for Creigh Deeds for Governor and Brian Moran for Governor. Additionally, they have served as a Finance Director for Leslie Byrne for Congress and Chap Petersen for Virginia State Senate.

Steve Hurvitz attended Abington High School from 1996 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Penn State University.
