Theresa Coble

Theresa Coble is an accomplished academic and board member with extensive experience in the field of resource interpretation and education. Currently serving as a Board Member for the National Park System Advisory Board and as Board Secretary for the Jefferson National Park Association, Theresa has also held the position of Fellow at the National Association for Interpretation since November 2018. An E. Desmond Lee Endowed Professor of Experiential & Family Education with Forest Park Forever at the University of Missouri - St. Louis since August 2015, Theresa previously worked as an Associate Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University and as an Assistant Professor at West Virginia University. Theresa's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Forest Resources and a Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature, both from the University of Minnesota, as well as an undergraduate degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Concordia College.
