Alissa Smith has been with the National Association of Agricultural Educators since July 2006, starting as the Associate Executive Director and now serving as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, Alissa taught high school agriculture classes in the Jessamine County School District from December 2000 to July 2006. Alissa holds a Master's degree in Vocational Education, Agricultural Education and Career and Tech Education from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education.
