Daisy Kim

Daisy Kim has a diverse work history with experience in various industries and roles. Daisy currently works at Islamic Networks Group (ING) as a member of the Intercultural Speakers Bureau & Program Content Development team. Prior to this, they worked at the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) as a Curriculum Developer and Program Manager, ERG. Daisy also worked as a Consultant in Diversity & Inclusion Programs and Research at Manazil Management, LLC. Daisy has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at University of the West and California State University, Fullerton. Daisy served as the Head of U.S. Business Development at MAD Square, a Korea-based social online video service. Daisy was also involved in academic research and funding management as the Graduate Assembly Funding Officer at UC Berkeley and as a Doctoral Student in Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UCLA in the Asian American Studies Department. Earlier in their career, Daisy was the Community Outreach and Public Relations Coordinator at Kollaboration.

Daisy Kim's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at UCLA and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Women's Studies and Public Policy. Daisy completed their undergraduate program in 2008. Continuing their education, Daisy then attended UCLA from 2010 to 2012, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Asian-American Studies. Finally, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued a PhD in Ethnic Studies.
