Julie Work

Julie Work has extensive experience in athletic administration, currently serving as Executive Vice President at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics since September 2006. In this role, Julie serves as the liaison for multiple athletic associations, including the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association and the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association. Additionally, Julie oversees key programs such as the LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup and the NACDA & Affiliates Convention Week. Previous positions held include Vice President, Assistant Executive Director, and Director of Communications, demonstrating a strong background in communications and organizational leadership. Prior to joining NACDA, Julie worked as Communications Director for the Ohio Athletic Conference, managing sports information for NCAA Division III. Julie graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in 1998.

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) was founded in 1965. It had its origins at the First and Second National Conferences on Athletic Administration in Colleges and Universities, held in Louisville, Kentucky in 1959 and 1962. At the third conference, in 1965, in Washington, D.C., NACDA was officially founded and the Association held its inaugural Convention in 1966.
