Amy Simmons Farber has over 30 years of experience in communications and public relations. Amy is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Communications & Public Relations at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) since July 2020. Previously, they worked at NACHC as the Director of Communications from August 2002 to July 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Communications Director at the House Financial Services Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 1999 to August 2002. Amy also worked in communications roles for the United States Congress and served as the Chief of Staff/Press Secretary for U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II (D-MA). Amy's early career includes roles at WTTG Fox Morning News, Close Up C-SPAN, United Press International, and Financial News Network.
Amy Simmons Farber earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Amy attended the university from 1983 to 1985.
