Jason G. Watkins Cae, Cmp

Jason G. Watkins, CAE, CMP has extensive experience in event operations and conference management. Jason G. is currently working as the Associate Vice President of Event Operations at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) since July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Vice President of Conferences & Exhibits at NACHC from April 2019 to June 2023.

Before joining NACHC, Jason worked at ConferenceDirect where they held the position of Director of Global Accounts from January 2017 to April 2019, and as a Global Account Executive from November 2014 to December 2016.

Jason G. also has experience in meetings and conferences management as the Director of Meetings & Conferences at the American Anthropological Association from December 2009 to November 2014.

Earlier in their career, Jason worked as an Educational Programs Manager at CASE from February 2008 to December 2009, and as a Convention Manager at the National Communication Association from October 2005 to February 2008.

Their career started with a role as a Counselor for the School of Medicine & Health Sciences at George Washington University from December 2004 to October 2005.

Jason's experience also includes working as an Associate Director of Relationship Marketing at Envision EMI from August 2003 to October 2004.

Jason G. Watkins, CAE, CMP earned their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Dickinson College. Jason G. attended the college from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Jason G. became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in January 2011 through the Convention Industry Council. In March 2014, they obtained the Certified Virtual Event Producer (CVEP) certification from Meetings Without Walls (iCohere). Most recently, in June 2023, they earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
