Mallory Bucher

Mallory Bucher, PHR, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mallory is currently working as an Associate Director of Corporate Governance Content at NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) since 2022. Prior to this, Mallory held multiple roles at the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board from 2012 to 2022, including Manager of Enterprise Risk Management, Manager of Enterprise Initiatives, Manager of Corporate Governance and Board Administration, Board Administrator, Human Resources Generalist, and Executive Assistant. Before joining the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, Mallory worked as a Recruiter at The Ford Agency from 2011 to 2012. Mallory also has experience as an Operations Group Leader at Target from 2007 to 2011. Mallory's career started at the University of Pittsburgh where they worked as a Career Services Student Assistant and Client Services and Recruiting Intern from 2004 to 2007.

Mallory Bucher, PHR, has a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Marymount University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Business from the University of Pittsburgh from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they studied Spanish at Universidad de Granada for a brief period in 2006. Mallory has also obtained various certifications, including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute in July 2015. Mallory further enhanced their skills and knowledge with a Certificate in Strategic Management from Georgetown University in November 2020 and an ERM Certificate from the COSO Enterprise Risk Management Certificate program in April 2021.
