Mari Canizales Coache

Mari Canizales Coache currently serves as the Senior Manager of Partnerships & Corporate Development at the National Association of Corporate Directors, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Mari held various leadership positions at GovExec, including Director of Marketing for the Insights & Research Group and Manager of Marketing & Client Services. A significant portion of Mari's career was spent at Market Connections, Inc., where the role of Manager in Marketing & Client Services was fulfilled from June 2015 to September 2021. Additional experience includes positions at the College of Southern Maryland, National Wildlife Federation, American Red Cross, The Sallie Mae Fund, The George Washington University, and National Wildlife Federation again, where Mari gained expertise in corporate relations, marketing, and educational support. Mari holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from George Mason University.
