Marc Chavez

Special Assistant, CEO & Liaison, Board at National Association of Counties

Marc serves as NACo's special assistant to the CEO and liaison to the NACo Board. He is responsible for a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the CEO/executive director and chief strategy officer/chief of staff. Before joining NACo, Marc worked for over 15 years in the public sector working for the Bernalillo County, N.M. Manager as administrative advisor, executive administrator and executive officer. Prior to that, Marc held several positions with the Office of the Mayor for the City of Albuquerque under two mayoral administrations. Marc is a graduate of the NACo High Performance Leadership Academy.
