Linda Russell, MSHR, SPHR has a diversified work experience. Linda currently serves as the Director of Employee Relations & Talent Development Strategies at the National Association of REALTORS® since February 2023. Prior to this, Linda held the role of Director of Talent Development and Resources at the same organization from June 2019 to February 2023.

Before joining the National Association of REALTORS®, Linda worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, starting in February 2016.

From February 2018 to June 2019, Linda was employed as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Loyola University Chicago. During their tenure, they were responsible for supporting various divisions and providing guidance to key leaders. Linda also played a significant role in recruitment strategies and programs to support the university's Affirmative Action Plan. Prior to this role, Linda served as the Human Resources Manager at Loyola University Chicago from October 2014 to February 2018.

Linda also gained valuable experience as a District Manager at Five Below from April 2013 to October 2014. In this role, they successfully managed operations, HR functions, and staff of 12 stores. Linda was selected to participate in a field HR committee to create a consolidated orientation process for all markets.

Before Five Below, Linda worked at Dick's Sporting Goods as a Store Manager from April 2011 to April 2013. Linda achieved outstanding results, managing a high-profit store and delivering excellent store inventory performance.

Linda's earlier experience includes roles at Borders, where they served as a District Manager from October 2009 to April 2011, and as a General Manager from August 2000 to October 2009. Linda also held the position of General Manager at Barnes & Noble from September 1992 to August 2000.

Linda Russell, MSHR, SPHR, obtained a Masters of Science in Human Resources (MSHR) from Loyola University Chicago, completing the program between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in English from Elmhurst University, which they attended from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, Linda has obtained various certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in September 2015.
