Laura Carter

Laura Carter is the Owner and President of Carter Publishing Studio, Inc., where since July 1997, involvement includes all aspects of production and operation in designing and producing magazines, journals, and books for various formats. As a freelance Journal Production Manager for the Journal of Singing with the National Association of Teachers of Singing since 2002 and as Art Director for ASH Clinical News since October 2021, Laura has demonstrated expertise in design and layout. Additionally, Laura founded Sweetspire Press in 2018, serves as Creative Director for the Vilomah Memorial Foundation, and managed the typesetting and electronic prepress departments at Ovid Bell Press prior to 1997. Educational background includes attendance at Ringling College of Art and Design and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
