Renée Salewski

Renée Salewski is an accomplished freelance stage director and educator with a diverse portfolio that includes directing operas, musical theatre, plays, and remote films since 2004. Renée has directed productions for various companies, including Grand River Opera and The Singer’s Theatre, and has self-produced several works. In addition to stage directing, Renée serves as Core Faculty for Dramatic Integration at the Canadian Opera Company, is Vice President of the National Association of Teachers of Singing Ontario, and holds the position of adjudicator with the Kiwanis Music Festival Association. Renée also operates as an independent voice teacher and acting coach, emphasizing the balance between technical skill and artistic expression. With experience as a singer, actor, and writer, Renée contributes to a wide range of theatrical and artistic projects. Educational background includes a BMus in Performance from Queen's University and advanced studies at the Royal Academy of Music.
