Toshi Fujinawa

Toshi Fujinawa currently serves as the TMT Project Business Manager at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, supporting the multinational initiative to construct the Thirty-meter Telescope since March 2021. Prior to this role, Toshi Fujinawa spent over three decades at Schlumberger, where various positions included IIoT Systems Architect, Electronic Technology Lab Manager, and Technology Center Manager, with responsibilities ranging from IIoT technology assessment to managing high-temperature electronics testing and fostering collaboration with governmental research organizations in Japan. Toshi Fujinawa holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, earned between 1979 and 1985.
