Kristal Stoner

VP & Executive Director, Great Plains at National Audubon Society

Kristal Stoner is the Vice President and Executive Director of Audubon Nebraska with the National Audubon Society, a position held since September 2018, where oversight includes conservation strategies across Nebraska's ecosystems and supervision of two nature centers. Simultaneously, Kristal serves as Vice President and State Executive Director at the National Audubon Society. Prior experience includes roles as Wildlife Diversity Program Manager and Environmental Analyst Supervisor at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, where leadership involved initiating the Nebraska Conservation Roundtable and implementing the State Wildlife Action Plan. Additional roles include Wildlife Biologist, Environmental Educator at Prairie Hill Learning Center, and Research Technician at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kristal holds a Master of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Animal Behavior from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
