Lauren Bourg

Lauren Bourg has a diverse range of work experience. Lauren worked as the Director Of Communications for the Restore the Mississippi River Delta Coalition at the National Audubon Society, where they developed integrated communications strategies and managed relationships with key media. Prior to that, they were the Communications and Marketing Manager at Audubon Louisiana, where they implemented communications plans and increased brand awareness. Lauren also worked as a Communications Associate at the National Audubon Society, where they developed and implemented communications work plans and managed content on the campaign website and social media properties.

Before their time at the National Audubon Society, Lauren was the Manager of External Relations & Development at the Stephenson Disaster Management Institute, where they cultivated external relationships and managed development initiatives. Lauren also held the role of Public Affairs and Outreach Coordinator at the LSU National Center, where they developed and managed branding campaigns, created and updated press releases, and designed ad campaigns and brochures for outreach efforts. Additionally, they interned as a Public Affairs Intern at the LSU National Center and the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training.

Lauren's work experience also includes roles at the Service-Learning Campaign at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, where they worked as a Public Relations Student and Public Relations Consultant, respectively.

Lauren Bourg attended Louisiana State University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies. In 2016, they began their studies at Loyola University New Orleans as an Institute of Environmental Communications Fellow, though the end year of their studies is not provided.
