Rachel Guillory's work experience begins in 2009 as a Northshore Field Organizer for Repower America, where they identified and empowered community leaders to build support for climate change legislation. In 2010, they worked as the Gulf States Campaign Organizer for Oceana, coordinating grassroots outreach efforts and representing the organization during the response and recovery period following the BP Deepwater Horizon oil disaster. Starting in 2010, they joined Ocean Conservancy and held positions such as Administrative Assistant, Gulf Restoration Program Coordinator, Gulf Restoration Program Specialist, Gulf Restoration Program Manager, and Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives. Currently, Guillory serves as the Communications Manager for Coasts at the National Audubon Society.
Rachel Guillory attended Louisiana State University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies & German. In 2007, they also attended Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where they obtained a Certificate of Foreign Studies in German as a Foreign Language.
