Sarah Hooghuis

Sarah Hooghuis serves as the Senior Coordinator for Youth Conservation Leadership at the National Audubon Society, where responsibilities include creating opportunities for youth engagement in nature and overseeing work-based learning programs. Previous experience encompasses roles such as Youth Conservation Leadership Coordinator at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, where grant support for bird conservation was provided, and Education and Outreach Americorps Member at Audubon Vermont, facilitating environmental education programs. Additional positions include Farm-Based Educator roles at Shelburne Farms and The FARM Institute, along with internships focused on clean water communications and farm-to-table education. Sarah Hooghuis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Skidmore College.
