Joao Facchin Alves

Joao (Joe) Facchin Alves is an experienced technology executive currently serving as Executive for Emerging Tech & Engineering Acceleration at NAB since July 2022. Prior to this role, Joao held significant positions at HSBC, including Global Head of Hybrid Integration Platform Architecture and Senior Manager of Global Middleware Engineering Strategy from May 2015 to June 2022. Earlier in Joao's career, a VP of Technology Infrastructure was positioned at Goldman Sachs from November 2010 to April 2015. Joao earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Paraná, studying from 1993 to 1997, and completed high school at Colegio Estadual Joao Manoel Mondrone from 1989 to 1991.
