Knox North has a well-rounded work experience in various companies. Knox started their career in 1980 as a group leader at Motorola and worked there until 1987. In 1986, they joined UCS as Vice President and remained there until 1998. From 1999 to 2000, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at DemandStar, where they led the development of a website for local governments' bidding process. Lastly, in 2001, they became the CIO of National Auto Lenders, Inc.
Knox North obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing their studies from 1976 to 1980. Additionally, they also completed a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the same institution, studying from 1975 to 1980.
