Xavier Calderon

National Series Director at National Auto Sport Association

Xavier Calderon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Xavier currently holds the position of Corporate Operations Regional Lead at NAVWAR, starting in January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as Supervisor - System of Systems Engineering at NAVWAR from June 2020 to January 2022, where they were responsible for architecture, requirements, and modeling. Xavier has also worked as a Senior Network Engineer at NAVWAR from May 2002 to June 2020, providing tier 3 network engineering support for the Department of Defense.

In addition to their work at NAVWAR, Calderon has held leadership positions at other organizations. Xavier served as the National Series Director for Spec Miata at the National Auto Sport Association, starting in January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for collaboration, regulation, and execution of policies and standards for the class organization.

Calderon is also an entrepreneur, having founded and served as the Owner/President of Injector Pulse since November 2012. Injector Pulse is a corporation dedicated to fuel injector cleaning, with a focus on inspection, evaluation, and cleaning services for the racing community.

With their extensive experience in operations, engineering, leadership, and entrepreneurship, Calderon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at NAVWAR.

Xavier Calderon's education history includes a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Applied Mathematics from Old Dominion University, which they pursued from 1997 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Xavier Calderon has also obtained several certifications. These certifications include Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) from INCOSE, OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional: Model User (OCSMP) from OMG, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco, IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level, Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA, and Security+ from CompTIA. Xavier obtained these certifications at various times between 2007 and 2021.
