Jared Allen

VP, Communications at NADA

Jared Allen is the Vice President of Communications at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). Jared has over fifteen years of experience in communications and public relations, including positions as a freelance writer and editor, vice president, director, and staff writer.

Allen began their career as a staff writer for The Lebanon Democrat in September 2005. Jared moved to The Nashville City Paper in April 2006 and served as a staff writer there until May 2008. Jared then joined The Hill as a staff writer, covering Congress and politics, and remained there until September 2010. After a brief stint at FTI Consulting Strategic Communications as director, they became vice president at LEVICK in January 2014. Jared left LEVICK in April 2014 to pursue freelance writing and editing, and joined NADA in January 2015.

Jared Allen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Connecticut. Jared then attended Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism, where they earned a Master of Science in Journalism.

They are on a team with Claudia Kropf - SVP, HR, Camron Wilson - VP, Educations & Training, and Michael Regan - SVP, Industry Relations. Jared Allen reports to Michael J. Stanton, President & CEO.
