Gina Grone

Gina Grone is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in external relations and communications. Currently serving as the Senior Director of External Relations at the National Aviary since January 2025, Gina plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s sustainability and brand mission. Previously, as the Executive Director of the Northside North Shore Chamber of Commerce, Gina achieved significant membership and revenue growth while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. With additional experience as the Assistant Director of Marketing at the Carnegie Bosch Institute and roles at the Society for Promoting Rural Education and Development and the University of Pittsburgh, Gina has a proven track record in strategic communications and marketing. Gina holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and has participated in the Business Leads Fellowship Program at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation focused on workforce development.
