Thorsten Heisig has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Thorsten started their career as a Trainee at BfG Bank AG in 1999 and later became a Wealth Manager. Thorsten then joined Commerzbank AG in 2001 as a Portfolio Manager, responsible for managing asset management mandates and trading shares. In 2004, they moved to SEB AG where they held various roles, including Head & Representative of Institutional Clients West and Head of Public Sector Germany. In 2016, they joined National-Bank AG as the Head of Institutional Clients, Asset Management.
Thorsten Heisig's education history includes a certified expert program in sustainable finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, which they completed in 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a diploma in business management (Diplom-Kaufmann) at the University of Cologne from 1994 to 1999. Their education journey began with a banking apprenticeship at BfG Bank AG in Cologne, where they obtained a degree in banking in 1994.
