Salman Zaid

Salman Zaid is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of IT Operations at the National Bank of Bahrain since October 2001, Salman Zaid is responsible for translating strategic objectives into high-level program scope statements and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry best practices. Previously, Salman Zaid worked as the Infrastructure Manager and Deputy Head of IT at SECURITIES AND INVESTMENT BANK (SICO), where key projects included upgrading the bank's core system and installing server infrastructure. Earlier roles included positions as a Network Administrator and User Support at Arab Bank Bahrain and a Customer Support Engineer at IBM OFFSET. Salman Zaid holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management from AMA International University of Bahrain and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain.
