Alexey Filatov

Alexey Filatov is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Chief Developer at the National Bank of Canada since April 2017, Alexey is responsible for planning, designing, leading, and executing technical solutions for Financial Markets Operations, including the migration of applications to the Cloud (AWS). Previously, Alexey held significant roles at VTB Capital as Senior Integration Specialist and Head of Reporting and Exchange Products IT, where implementations of trading systems and interfaces were key responsibilities. Alexey's earlier experience includes positions as an IT Business Analyst at Renaissance Capital, a Business Analyst at Depository Clearing Company, and a User Support Specialist at Quorum. Alexey holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, obtained in 2000.
