Chara Dalekou

General Manager of Group Marketing at National Bank of Greece

In March 2019, Chara Dalekou joined the staff of the National Bank, taking over the General Management of the Group. He is a member of the Extended Executive Committee of the Bank.

Chara Dalekou has 24 years of experience in Commercial Roles, in Multinational and Greek companies. She started her career in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry, at Unilever in 1996 where she worked first in Sales and then in Marketing taking over the management of the categories of ice cream, frozen products and olive oil. In 2004, she was appointed Commercial Director of the Greek Amusement Parks and in 2008 she moved to Sony Ericson where she took over the leadership of Marketing first for Greece and the Balkans and then for the wider Southeastern Mediterranean region. Her professional career continued at AEGEAN where she was in charge of the Marketing Department of the airline for 8 years.

She is a member of the Women in Business Committee of the Hellenic American Chamber.

Chara Dalekou holds a degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business, a Master's Degree in Marketing from the University of Stirling in Scotland and a Certificate in French Business and Economics from the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
