Christos Christodoulou

Chief Financial Officer at National Bank of Greece

Christos Christodoulou was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Member of the Executive Committee of the National Bank in July 2019. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of Stopanska Bank AD Skopje, National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Ltd and National Insurance Cyprus.

He joined the National Bank in 2007 and has served in various positions in Greece and abroad. From July 2017 to July 2019 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Ltd, while from January 2015 to July 2017 he assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at United Bulgarian Bank AD From 2007 to 2014 he worked as Financial Controller of the National Bank Group Subsidiaries in Southeastern Europe and Africa.

He started his career in 1999 at the auditing firm Hacker Young in London, where he worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2007 he worked in the Financial Management of Eurobank in Greece.

He is a graduate of the English School of Nicosia and holds a degree in Economics from University College London. He is a Certified Public Accountant (FCA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).
