Nikolaos Papadopoulos

Nikolaos Papadopoulos possesses extensive experience in IT operations and infrastructure, currently serving as the Manager and Head of RDBMS and Middleware Infrastructure at the National Bank of Greece since October 2003. Under this role, Nikolaos oversees technical teams, manages budgeting, and ensures the provisioning of various database systems including Oracle, DB2, and MSSQL. Prior to this position, Nikolaos held roles including IT Project Coordinator, E-Learning/LMS Services Professional, and IT Application Architect within the same organization. Earlier experience includes serving as an IBM Mainframe Software Engineer for the Hellenic Army Forces and a Computer Programmer focused on AS400 system support. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as an MSc in Banking from Hellenic Open University, complemented by a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
