George Odhiambo

George Odhiambo serves as the Managing Director of National Bank of Kenya since January 2023, reporting directly to the CEO of KCB Group Plc. Prior to this role, George held the position of Managing Director at BPR Bank Rwanda Plc from April 2022 to January 2023, where responsibilities included general management, oversight, and relationship management with strategic stakeholders. George's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Managing Director at KCB Bank Rwanda Ltd from August 2013 to March 2022, during which various leadership roles were undertaken, including Head of Business Development & Client Services and Head of Retail Banking. Earlier roles included leadership positions in business analytics at Barclays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, complemented by academic qualifications including a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from KCA University.
