Shyam Kalyanaraman

Shyam Kalyanaraman has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as Group Financial Controller and Deputy Group CFO at the National Bank of Kuwait since May 2002. Shyam has held various positions within the organization, including Head of Group Management Accounting & FMIS, and Manager roles in both Group Management Accounting and Group Internal Audit. Prior to joining the National Bank of Kuwait, Shyam worked at KPMG Advisory as a Senior Consultant focused on Management Assurance Services for banks and financial institutions, and at Deloitte as a Consultant. Shyam's educational qualifications include an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an M.Com in Management Accounting & Corporate Finance from Annamalai University, and recent executive education in Leadership and Digital Strategy from INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
