Omar Qureshi

Omar Qureshi has over 18 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as the Unit Head of the Corporate & Investment Banking Group at the National Bank of Pakistan since July 2009. In this role, Omar has managed credit processing, investigation, and risk analysis for SME and commercial credit proposals, overseeing a credit portfolio exceeding Rs. 3 billion. Previous positions include Relationship Manager and Regional Credit Officer, with a noteworthy tenure as Branch Manager, where Omar successfully increased the customer base and deposit portfolio by 17%. Prior experience includes serving as Manager Operations at MTBC, where Omar contributed to establishing the company’s operational framework in Pakistan. Omar holds an MBA in Finance from the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, completed in 2007, and completed Matriculation at Siddeeq Public School in 2000.
