Latifa Uwineza

Latifa Uwineza is currently an Analyst at the National Bank of Rwanda (NBR), a position held since August 2024, following a tenure as a Young Economist at the same institution from October 2021 to October 2023. In these roles, Latifa contributed to the Market Conduct Supervision Department and the Financial Sector Conduct and Consumer Protection Division, focusing on market analysis, consumer protection policy development, and compliance promotion within the financial sector. Prior experience includes an internship in Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation at Nyarugenge District from December 2019 to September 2021, where Latifa engaged in data analysis and project evaluation. Latifa is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from ULK, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Rwanda and a High School Diploma from Lycee Notre Dame de Citeaux.
